On the 'Double Petals' page:
"The chief source of art is man's pleasure in his daily work, which expresses itself and is embodied in that art itself."

The Verse by the Side of the Road
Ok, here is some vintage for you.... When we were young in the MidWest, Burma Shave had an advertising gimmick of posting jingles along the highway... spacing the words on sequential signs so you'd search for the next sign.
Fast forward to 2014 when Steve and Cherie decide to have their driveway redone in time for the annual Saugerties Artists Tour but the pavers schedule gets delayed and they end up finishing it two days beforehand. Now those of you that don't know and we didn't, black top driveways need time to set up. If you turn the wheels of your car on soft blacktop, it leaves a permanent dent/ridge/bump.
So...... we had to request that our customers walk up our long driveway. Feeling a bit guilty, Steve made up a jingle which we posted along the way to make the travel lighter.....
